We are thankful to have had Ethel May Pickford (nee Candy) in our lives for 99 years. Ethel was born February 8, 1913 and left us peacefully on July 10, 2012. She was predeceased by her beloved husband The Rev. Walter Pickford and her brothers Kenneth Candy, and The Rev. Canon Douglas Candy. She leaves behind her children Barbara Rintoul (Robert), Barry Pickford (Barbara Henderson), Jo-Anne Bernstein (Howard), and Richard Pickford (Rosanna). She is also survived by her grandchildren Chad Rintoul (Lisa), Rebecca Godfrey (Caullyn), Greer and Willa Pickford, Adam Bernstein (Trey), Amy Crowe (Mike), Justin and Hillarie Pickford, and great-grandchildren Nolan and Clara Rintoul, and Pearson and Hudson Bernstein. She will be remembered for her love of family, dedication to Canadian Girl Guides, her compassion to the elderly, and especially her love of God and the Anglican Church. LORD NOW LET THY SERVANT DEPART IN PEACE.

Visitation at The Church of The Ascension, Comber, Ontario, Friday, July 13, 2012 from 12 - 1 p.m., funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at St. George’s Cemetery, Comber, Ontario.
